Join a group of Penn State students in volunteering at Pets Come First on Sunday, 1/29. Volunteers will help in feeding the animals, cleaning, and preparing the building. Pets Come First is dedicated to rescuing animals from abuse and neglect, guaranteeing a home for every adoptable animal, and reducing pet-overpopulation through low-cost spay-and-neuter clinics and public awareness initiatives.
Come out and join a group of volunteers to Shaver’s Creek on Sunday 1/29. Volunteers will be assisting with trail maintenance and other outdoor projects. Volunteers should meet by the TV in the Hub, and transportation will be provided.
Join us for a casual lunch with the students of LifeLink PSU. Bring or buy your lunch. Meet at 304 Hub (may move to Sbarro). Every Monday from 11:15am - 12:30pm.

Kicking off “Women’s Empowerment Week 2012,” Miss Black Penn State 2011 will present aims to “Hygeia” for the benefit of the entire Penn State community feature organizations such as University Health Services and the American Chiropractic Spa Retreat. While participating health educators will offer strategies for health improvement, come and enjoy music, free massages, exciting activities, and door prize giveaways!

By shutting off classroom lights around campus, students will have the opportunity to save hundreds of kilowatt-hours of electricity, both saving Penn State money and reducing the burning of fossil fuels. To take part in this effort to help your campus, your community, and your planet, meet at room 106 HUB at 5:15pm. FREE pizza will be provided, and you might even get the chance to see a part of campus you have never seen before.
